Haus Germann Response

Haus Germann Response’ 2023 is an intervention responding to an invitation from Museum Director Markus Stegmann to paint the late administrator Paul Germann's house within the Langmatt gardens before it is demolished in early 2024.


Painted as an endurance performance painting, with pressurised fire extinguishers filled with paint, the painting was split into two sessions for an hour on both the morning and afternoon. Several hundred people attended to watch the process of the painting take place.
